ISSUES

Healthcare needs to be universally accessible, affordable, and without disparities, regardless of your zip code or employment status. I’ll fight for;

• Expanding the Affordable Care Act, Medicare, and Medicaid.
• Reform/standardize the use of prior authorizations. 
• Set price caps on treatments and care. 
• Legislate anti-trust laws for health conglomerates
• Negotiate drug prices for commercial health plans.
• Protect rural hospitals 

Healthcare coverage that is tied to employment leaves families and individuals vulnerable, limits personal opportunities, and prevents economic growth: 

• Transition to a Universal, single-payer health system (Medicare For All) for those who want and need it. 

Women's Healthcare

• Codifying Roe V. Wade through Congress. 
• Protecting access to contraception and IVF.
• Expanding and funding research for women's health issues 

Veterans 

• Fully staff and fund VA clinics and hospitals. 
• Ensure healthcare decisions are made by clinicians, patients, and subject-matter experts.

I grew up in a middle-class household, with my father being the sole wage earner for years. We weren’t rich, but we never went without the basics. We enjoyed a stable home, a safe neighborhood, and effective schools. Today, the Affordability Crisis keeps working families under constant duress while depressed wages and never-ending price hikes make my upbringing seem like a different America. Every worker deserves dignity and economic security. I’ll fight for: 

• Strong unions
• Raising the federal minimum wage to $15 an hour.
• Affordable housing programs that support our neighbors. 
• Ensuring the top 1% pays their fair share in taxes.

Fighting For Families

• Paid maternity and paternity leave that doesn't drain your PTO or sick time. 
• Fully funding childcare for working families. 

Securing Our Seniors

• Strengthening Social Security by eliminating the income cap.
• Dignified retirement programs and pensions.

Our public schools must prepare our youth for the future, and support our teachers who make this possible.

• Restore full funding of the U.S. Department of Education 
• Fully funded school infrastructure and increased teacher salaries
• Universal internet access for low-income communities  

Higher Education:

• Tuition-free community college and trade schools.
• Student loan forgiveness

District 15 sits in the heart of Florida’s Nature Coast to Tampa Bay; I will work tirelessly to protect clean air and water, wildlife habitats, fund climate-smart energy choices, and ensure healthy communities for generations to come.

• Federal moratoriums on hyperscale AI Data Centers 
• Implement mitigation, adaptation and sustainable growth to increase climate resilience.
• Strengthen and fully fund the Interior Dept., USEPA, NOAA, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and FEMA. 
• Create jobs and reduce fuel and public utility costs with clean energy.
• Increase protection for endangered wildlife and their habitats that support Florida’s nature-based tourist economy. 
• Protect the Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan.
• Regulate commercial developers, polluters, and fossil fuel companies that endanger our environment. 

MacDill Air Force Base is the nerve center of America’s global crisis‑response network, giving the United States the ability to coordinate wars, counterterrorism missions, and special operations all from right here in Florida’s Gulf Coast. So it’s no wonder why Floridians also express skepticism toward open‑ended wars, particularly amid ongoing conflicts involving the Middle East and South America. Floridians want foreign policy that feels practical, steady, and clearly tied to U.S. interests. Our neighbors who work tirelessly at MacDill, like everyone who serves in the defense of this nation, deserve a clearly defined mission with an exit strategy in place before launching an operation. This is why as your Representative for FL-15, I will;

• Compel this and any other administration to comply with the War Powers Act
• Conduct oversight and investigations to expose decision-making failures and challenge half-baked rationales for military action.
• Restrict, condition, or prohibit funding for military operations.

We deserve a voice in Washington who wants to enrich their lives, not one who enriches their own pockets. Dark money in our politics is why Washington has been ineffective for so long, and that’s why, I will never take corporate PAC nor AIPAC money. 

I support: 

• Overturning Citizens United, and all the other methods and rules the super-rich use to influence our elected officials.
• Ban Congressional stock trading.
